...it was stripped, the stains bleached out, and finished with a French Polish.
A busted bust before...
... and after broken pieces were patched and carved. Finished with a faux bronze treatment.
A secretary with a previous paint job bleeding through the white...
...color matched and touched up to look clean yet maintain an aged patina.
Inside the secretary the issue was worse...
...but a color touch up made it fresh again.
A new finial was turned and color matched for the top. A light was custom-mounted inside the dome.
An old farm table was too short for dining chairs...
...so extensions were turned in the style of the existing legs. Color matching and a shellac finish blends them seamlessly.
An old record cabinet needed a refinish...
...it was gently stripped and refinished with a French Polish. A new grille cloth and replacement hardware were installed.
A German gilt-wood mirror was broken over years of moving and storage...
...replacement pieces were cast from what was left and others were hand carved. The repairs were gilded and aged to blend with the original frame.
The entire frame was repaired from top to bottom.
The entire top of this trunk was worn back to the wood so the design from the front was color matched and replicated by hand.
This chair received new caning on the seat.
